Karen Smith, Executive Director

Karen is the Executive Director of the Montana Credit Union Network's charitable arm, Montana Credit Unions for Community Development or MCUCD. She leads the team to implement programs through Montana's credit unions that improve the social and economic well-being of all Montanans. Karen also sits on the board of the Women's Foundation of Montana.

Carin McClain, VITA Program Manager

Hailing from the credit union capital of the world (Madison, WI), Carin is thrilled to be serving Montana’s credit unions. As the VITA Program Manager, she recruits and manages volunteers, directs tax law training, helps coordinate the state-wide MVP Coalition, and works to build capacity and sustainability for her program. Carin is the league liaison for Montana's Credit Union Young Professional Group.

Jami Kirksey, Program Manager

Jami first joined the MCUCD team as an AmeriCorps VISTA member in 2011. She manages the Montana Matched Education Savings Account Program and the Consumer Resource Center. She recently took a seat on the Montana Financial Education Coalition (MFEC) board, and also represents MCUCD and credit unions on the Montana Military Financial Alliance (MMFA).
